LED light therapy at Puttur Skin Clinic
Treatment with the Celluma LED light panel is available at our clinic in Bolwar, Puttur. A skin consultation with the dermatologist comes first.
Consulting dermatologist: Dr. Sachin Manohar Shetty, M.B.B.S., M.D., iFAAD
How LED light therapy works
The Celluma panel curves over the face and delivers specific wavelengths of LED light to the skin while you lie back.
Blue light (465 nm) is used for acne-prone skin. Red and near-infrared light (630 nm and 880 nm) are used for skin rejuvenation concerns such as fine lines and uneven texture.
LED light therapy is often used alongside other care that the dermatologist prescribes. Whether it suits you, and how many sessions are advised, is decided after the doctor examines your skin.

LED light therapy is generally well tolerated, but temporary redness, warmth or skin sensitivity can occur. It may not be suitable if you use medicines that make the skin sensitive to light, or if you have certain skin or eye conditions. Results vary from person to person. The dermatologist assesses suitability and explains the risks at the consultation.
